I live in Buffalo NY and i wanna travel to California over sping break...?

im 16 years old and i wanna go there! i've always wanted to ! my mom said she wants to go on a vacation somewhere..but she prolly wants to go were were ALWAYS go..NYC. dont get me wrong i LOVE it; its beautiful..but i want to go to CALI! i love the ocean, sand, sun! SUFER GUYYYSS! hahaha heres the thing..cali is roughly 2500 miles away..and we all know with gas prices sky high NYC is ALOT cheaper on gas..and i've never been on a plane and i might be scared! haha
has anybody traveled from NY to Cali? how much in total did you spend? was it worth it? any information would help! thanksss

IF you only have 1 week for spring break,, it may be a little rough, driving non stop, you need to figure a couple days there and a couple days back. That wont leave much time for being there. and at about 12 tanks of gas one way, could be upwards near $ 500 one way. just for gas. not counting meals,,lodging, entertain,ent etc....

Mayby think about overcoming the fear of flying.
