Anybody familiar with Memphis?

We are planning to drive down to memphis for a weekend around March 15th. Any suggestions on where to stay, what to do???

I like the Windsor Gradens and it is just blocks away from Beale Street and also you can look out your window and see the Piramid... I was there Saturday night and went to the Fedex and the boys went to hooters. Its all nice. Just be careful and watch your wallet! I say there or the Peabody! I love them duck!

Peabody is nice. Go to Mud Island, Graceland, Pink Palace and don't leave Memphis without going to Corky's for Bar-B-Que.

The best place to stay is where you are. Memphis is over rated and over run with crime.
