If you ever had the opportunity to take a spontanious trip to regroup and get away, where would you go?

I would love to go where there are tall thick trees and a lake or river close by. I would like to see mountains and wild life. I would like to go to either Colorado or even Montana or even Maine. Where would you suggest? Would it be where you would really like to be, even if it for a short while?

The last spontaneous, regroup trip I took .......... Alaska. It's amazing. Unspoiled land. All of the things you've mentioned and more.

They say "If you ever go to Alaska, you never come all the way back". I know that I sure didn't want to leave. Probably a little cold up there now.

I would suggest Colorado.....lot to see, lot to learn and lot to feel and get yourself be in the nature and enjoy being....

Well it's pretty cold right now... money , time you can spend away from where you are play into this too.

I love Montana - Idaho. Maine is nice. Colorado would work to..

I've actually decided my goal is to get away for good in Montana so I can relate.

good luck. hope you fund your peace.

If you are looking for mountains go to north west Montana, around Flathead Lake.
There is hardly a more beautiful place anywhere.
Actually, anywhere in the Rocky's would do.

If you like National Parks, try Yellowstone, it's got all the
scenery and wildlife you can handle.

the poetry inn ..Napa california...Tall trees rolling hills rivers ,streams,it is quiet and peaceful, and if I so choose it is just a short drive to the ocean ,or the big city.
