How can I move to the mountains? |
I am 18 and live in va. I am wanting to move to the mountains for the snowboarding. I need advice on how to find work and an apartment withought going there first. Any suggestions? You can do most of it online. Look up the Chamber of Commerce of the city of your choice. It will show most all the rental info and local businesses. They will have a local newspaper that you can check out for job listings. Email or fax your resume after you talk to them and get your job lined up. Then just call the different rentals till you find a place you would like to live. Send them your deposite, pack your bags and get on a bus. Rent.com, Careerbuilder.com, and as for the mountains, dynamite. look on the Internet for jobs and apply look for apartments to see how much it would cost to live there |

I would pack clothes you could layer. Take a light jacket and some pants, but pack your bathing suit... I'm a 25 year old native Californian male, so if you want to send me a message feel free to..... ...Buckhead is expensive. Alpharetta is a nice Atl borough. Go anywhere in the country-side and youll either run into a white town or a black one. Atlanta is pretty modern, diverse and evolved and... well San Diego will definitely not have the smog that LA has and the traffic is not nearly as bad. There are only a few specific commutes I would avoid in San Diego but for the most part it's... OHHH that is easy every time we go down to FL I get these awesome Key Lime Cookies! They are the best, I also stock up on Key Lime candy. Yummy! I guess it really depends what your friend likes ... I'd go with Camarillo b/c it's not going to be as hot as Moorpark or Agoura Hills. It's probably about the same distance to the beach as Agoura Hills is to Malibu and the mountains ... |
