National express coach tickets?

iam planning on going away and iam travelling on a national express coach thing is though the time i want to go away is the time my sister is having her baby, so if the worse comes to the worse and i end up not being able to go would they give me a refund on my tickets etc ?

they'll give you a refund only if you give them 24 hours notice.

Some are non-refundable, whatever the circumstances.

Basically if the ticket isn't a funfare ticket (cheap tickets avaliable on some services at a heavily discounted rate, tickets of this kind have a ticket number starting with FF) or a apex ticket (tickets bought at a discounted rate 7 days in advance, you can tell if a ticket is as such because the ticket type is listed as EAR or SAR, the ticket type can be found at the bottom of most tickets and if you buy online it should display the ticket type before you buy) then they are refundable. To get a refund you need to take it to a National Express office 72 hours before the time of departure, refunds are generally issued with a administration charge of 拢5 per person. Refunds cannot be issued within 72 hours of departure however if it is within that time or you have one of the two above ticket types you can try and get a refund by sending the tickets and a covering letter to Customer Relations, the address of which is avaliable from the website of it bought from an agent on the back of the ticket wallet.
