Work Visas in the UK and Germany?

I am a High School student that is planning a trip to Europe after my high school graduation. I have not been able to locate information requisite to that trip.

The summer after my graduation I am going to backpack for a month or two through most of Europe using the Euro-Rail and plan on blowing like 8K USD there.

I am taking my best friend with me, and she has relatively low funds and am going to have to fund her.

After that, we plan on living in Munich, London, and maybe one or two other cities ( in either Germany or the UK ).

I need information on work permits, as I have relatively no special skills (I'm WC3 certified, I speak German relatively well, and I have a German grandparent). I plan on going to the University of Aberystwyth after my trip is over... I can't afford to live there for a year without working, and I don't know how to legally work therein.

If legal means are impossible, how could I, hypothetically of course, attain an illegal position? Thanks for your help!

Sorry to say that when you reach our shores, if neither of you have enough money to support yourselves whilst you are here...and also are not in possession of a return ticket whence you came, you will be denied entry. Also, if you are caught working illegally you would be deported and it would be stamped so in your passport and you could never return here...it could also be difficult to get into other countries.

However, this link will provide you with the information you need regarding student visas and hours which you can work on that visa...
