I have just been into Yahoo on Doc Martins web-site and the programme is actually filmed in Portwenn, which is a small Cornish Hamlet.
Hope this helps.

A lot of it is filmed around Port Isaac, although my husband and I thought we saw Prideaux Place in Padstow on one episode.
I know the interior wedding scenes of the wedding that wasn't were filmed at St Mabyn Church, near Wadebridge. I think they do a lot of location filming around the area.

It was filmed in Port Isaac, Bodmin moor,the outskirts of Boscastle. some of the places were switched to make you think one place was in another.
