There are a wealth of historic and picturesque villages within a few miles of the town. Nunney and Farleigh Hungerford have romantic ruined castles. Mells is the home of the famous nursery rhyme Little Jack Horner and the burial place of war poet Siegfried Sassoon. Norton St Philip witnessed a skirmish in the Duke of Monmouth's campaign which led to the last battle on English soil in 1685. Beckington and Rode also have many features of historic interest including fine parish churches. Easy walking trails around all these villages are available from the Tourist Information Centre

Drinking cider and abusing animals are popular locally.

take tours and
( i think you aid your going to rome) if you are going to rome then go to the coloseum

There's not alot in Frome, but Bath is only a short distance away by bus, also Longleat Safari Park is quite close.

Apparently Frome is one of the oldest towns in the area even pre-dating Bath. In town you have Riverside walk, the nerlin theatre, Fromw Mueseum and westway cinema. A bit further out you have Longleat Safari Park and House, East Somerset Railway, Farleigh Hungerford Castle and Whatley Vineyard - Hope this helps!

Longlete is amazing for families, slightly expensive (around 拢40 for a family of 4 for the day) but that includes going through the Safari Park, the maze, an adventure playground, butterfly gardens, boat trip to see and feed sea lions and a train trip. Beware that the monkeys rip off parts of peoples cars when you drive through!! There's also wolves, giraffes zebra, lions and a white tiger. Hope you go and have fun!

Yes of course - there's loads of things for families to do in that area.

Most of them have a good argument on Sundays, some throw bottles of tomato ketchup at each other and some feed live frogs to that old man who lives on the edge of town and won't let anyone cross the bridge until they give him one - - - a frog, that is.

Mmmm yummy yummy cruch crunch

Nice place, Frome

Clarks shopping village is close by. Lots of discount designer stores.

Not a lot to do in Frome, it's an old market town that needs up-dating. You can visit Bath, Wells, Cheddar, Bristol, Wookey Hole, Longleat, Glastonbury, to name but a few!
