Does communism work well in cuba? is cuba a wealthy or poor country? Cuba is a desparately poor contry. The only way Cuba can keep its citizens is to hold them prisoner. many have risked their lives to escape Cuba. Most do NOT live there by choice, but becuse they are forbidden to leave. You didn't even try to google this answer right? It is a very poor country with a population that is heavily oppressed. I don't think communism has worked well in any country where it has been placed into practice. yeah charlie |

I've been living in France near Paris, close to Fountainbleau to be precise and I find the quality of life much better here, more vacation and time off, 5 weeks holiday besides all the bank ho... most of it is hot dry and barren (the entire inland portions!) it is a great place to visit, but stay on the east coast from the Great Barrier reef all of the way down to Melbourne. Lots of beaut... First Choice, Hawaii, Love the beach! Second choice, Seattle, lots of green trees and it doesn't get too cold or too hot.
