Which country would you never visit even if someone offered to pay for the entire trip?

Apart from Afghanistan or Iraq and why?

Why people WHY!

LOL!

READ THE QUESTION!

I would not go to North Korea, as I wouldn't be comfortable supporting that isolated dictatorship. And I'm sure that any money I spent would go to the government, not the people, as visitors there are strictly controlled.

I've heard the argument that you need to engage them through diplomacy and discussion to bring about change, but as a private citizen, I fear I wouldn't be effective at that. So I'll wait for the US government, the South Korean government, and China to finally pressure and coax some change from that government.

In the meantime, I can't in good conscience go to North Korea.

Just my 2 cents.

Yemen

ummm.... Iran.

africa

Antarctica. burrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Saudi Arabia, since I am both female AND Jewish. I think they would not be fond of my presence....and I like to drive!

The other place would be Darfur, unless I was there to help the people there. Otherwise, no thanks. Same reasons as above.

why is that ?apart from iraq and afghanistan?
:-)
i've been 3mts in kabul.is was ok.i wish to go back there! they have lots of antiques
it is a pitty that iraq became a ruin.i have been there as well,in many places, bagdad, mosul, nasriyah, basra.i am working in saudi arabia.it is not as bad as it looks...
personally i wouldn't go to antarctica,because it is extremly cold,i've heard :-)

I dont think there is one - even the "bad" ones would still be an expierence

Saudi Arabia. Appears to be the kind of place where you could get hanged for scratching your nose with the wrong finger. Singapore sounds almost as bad, but there they only cane you.

The Sudan, Iraq, Afghanistan and other economically and politically challenged nations would be an obvious choice of places not to visit under any and all circumstances.

However, there are many nations I would never visit are nations around the world with a high degree of A.I.D.S. infestation and any record of unsanitary health conditions. Also, I would never visit any nation where I would feel uncomfortable with their policy of religious intolerance.
