Where can I find REALLY cheap flights from the UK to the USA?

You don't say when you want to travel or to where, and those factors matter a lot. For example, fares during summer will be more expensive than now and a ticket to JFK will cost less than a ticket to Denver.

There is no secret magic website with the "cheapest" fares. You have to do the research. Your departure is a week away so you need to hurry.

Check the travel sites (airgorilla, expedia, priceline, travelocity, etc.) and also check the airline sites. Be as flexible as possible regarding travel dates and consider splitting your trip to take advantage of "special" fares.

You need to check with a real travel agency to ask about promotional fares and charter opportunities.

I have usually found the best fares on the airline websites, but not always. Note that not all USA domestic airlines sell tickets via the travel sites so you have to check their websites (ex. JetBlue and Southwest Airlines).
