Do i need a visa for a vacation?

Just wondering is a visa needed aswell as a passport to travel from America to England for a 2 week vacation?

Hopefully my answer will help you, i am British but live in VA.

You will definately need a passport, without question.
You will be issued a visa waiver form, this will allow you to visit England as a tourist. they will give you the form to fill out whilst on the air plane.
It.s very simple and nothing to worry about.
Many of my American friends seem to think they can travel to just about any country without a passport or visa, this is not the case. Sure you can travel from one side of the states to the other without a passport, but soon as you leave American air space, you enter into new terriorty, and will need the necessary documents.

i dont think you do for a two week vacation. i think you might if you were living there for awhile but if ur staying in a hotel and everything you only need a passport
