Why do people keep on re-building houses in tornado alley? |
I mean If it happens every year, Why keep on living there? because you can live on the west coast and deal with earthquakes and a housing market that is at a minimum 5 to 6 times more than that of the mid-west. you can take your chances in the south and east with hurricanes. you can live in the northeast with the brutal cold. or the southeast with nothing there.....Or you can live in the midwest where the cost of living is dirt cheap and the cost of building a home is far cheaper than most places...and your chance of losing a home twice in a lifetime is very slim. or once in a life time I can understand rebuilding a house--because you can always build a house stronger, what I don't understand are people who live in trailers in the middle of tornado alley... exactly what i dont understand!!! my dad says that they should build underground houses haha that's a good idea. |
