Working in Switzerland but don't like skiing, what can I do at the w/e?

I like very much to visit Montreux, if you haven't been there you should go. I am from Venezuela and it is the place that makes me feel most comfortable and makes me feel at home. It is by the lake of Geneve facing part of the French Alps. The views are breathtaking. Especially walking around the promenade. There is a nice boat ride that goes along the lake. There is a fabulous chocolatier in Vevey (neighbor town).
It is a relaxed town, people of very friendly (I would say the friendliest in Switzerland) and you can find good food.
Check the local tourism office site

Good luck!!!!!

Go exploring, there are such beautiful places there, do some reading, take a drive to lake LUGANO, and take a walk round the lake, with your dog, go walking along the promenade, go for hot chocolate in a nice Swiss inn....

Rob banks? I hear they have quite a few of them and they are LOADED!

Climb.

It's a myth that the Swiss ski, eat chocolate and manufacture watches. There are lots of interesting museums; actually one of the world's most famous art exhibits takes place in Basel. Since there are four official languages in Switzerland, when you travel throughout the country, you will note all different cultures as well. Switzerland has some of the best restaurants in the world as well.

what Swiztzxerland has to do with skiing???
over 75% of people living there don't ski.

Drink maybe?

- Go to Riehen near Basle to 'Fondation Beyeler'. One of our best museums.

or

- Go to Jungraujoch, Top of Europe with the Jungfraubahn

snowboard, go sledding

go to a hockey game, Entdecken Sie whatever the SBB suggests, travel to other great European cities, check out dogsled races and ballet and clubs and concerts and restaurants and ski-races and snow golfing and museums and Fasnacht celebrations, or stay home and watch BBC Prime

Read Inside Switzerland magazine.

I get bored in Swiss.i mean how many times you want to see the lake.if you live in Geneva take your car and drive to France and if you live in Zurich ,drive to Germany,Schwartz Wald( black forest),Munchen
