Gimmelwald or Grindewald in Feb?

Hi I will be in Switz. in Feb 2009 and can't decide whether to visit Gimmelwald or Grindewald or Lauterbrunnen? Also the gondola to Gimmelwald looks treatcherous in the winter, is it a pretty safe ride? What about walking from Murren to Gimmewald in the winter - is this possible?

All 3 places you mentioned are fairly close to eachother around the Jungfrau, Eiger and M枚nch, so I'd say you should be able to visit them all. I don't know the gondola to Gimmelwald specifically, but I can assure you it's definitely a safe ride, they all are. Murren and Gimmelwald are like 2 km apart, I don't see a problem walking between them, as long as you are dressed appropriately.

Enjoy your stay, it's a wonderful region, I'm sure you'll love it :)
