Whats the weather like in spain (benalmadena) in mid October??? Thanks? |
We are going on a family holiday for 2 weeks with a 3 year old and want to know what clothing to pack etc... In a word, WONDERFUL. It's a great month to go and you've chosen a great place, too. The daytime temperatures should be well into the 80's, but after the heat of the day, you may feel the need for more than just a t-shirt at night, although it will still be around 60 degrees. T-shirts, shorts & flip flops (or sandals) will be all that is required, unless you intend dressing up for the evenings. If you are in a hotel, trousers will be expected at the evening meal in most hotels. Would also recommend you all wear something on your heads, during the day, as it can get hot. the rain in spain stays mainly in the plain Actually That is the time of year that I visited Spain,,I guess it depends upon the area you are visiting too...I would check the internet for weather conditions before you go...IT is almost like PA but maybe 10 degrees higher I was told....The best thing is take jackets and light weight sweaters just in case... I wore mostly capris and short sleeve tops but did wear jackets as the sun went down..Weather can change no matter where ya go...ENJOY YOUR TRIP,,You will LOVE SPAIN , it is an Awesome place to visit... October is actually one of the nicest months to visit the Costa del Sol as the weather is just about perfect. It is usually still hot but without being stiflingly so (daytime temps should still be in the mid 30C's) and should suit younger children fine. Regarding clothes it should be t-shirts and shorts all the way (don't forget the sun cream!) but I recommend having a light jacket or cardigan handy just in case the evening air is a little cooler, especially later in the month. It will still be pretty warm. Highs of about 25c - 28c but at night it may feel chilly after the heat of the day. it will be pretty warm , but take some warm clothes for the evenings ,it can get chilly especially along the coastline |
