Are the Canary Islands warmer than the Balearics in May?

Which area would you reccomend to travel to the last weekend in May? Nothing too loud, with beautiful beaches, some clubs, pubs, a few sites, and not boring. My sister and I want to soak up some good sun, have some fun, but not be too rowdy I guess...HELP!

You have more chance of warm settled weather in the Islas Canarias than the Balearics. It will probably be warmer though Mallorca can get warm weather in May. If you are travelling from the UK it will probably be cheaper to go to Mallorca than Tenerife or Gran Canaria.
