Hotels in Barcelona Spain.?

I am looking for a hotel in Barcelona that is very cuturally inriched. I don't want a modern hotel, I want one that is heavily influenced by Spains culture.
Please let me know of any that are good.

If you look for places that are called Hostal or Pension. These will be lower priced, but generally privately owned, and sometimes historic. They represent the way Spaniards and other Eurpoeans travel. Hoteles, you want to look at them, you should look at the photos, and you can tell if they are the style you want.

I'd recommend going to a bookstore's travel section. They have guidebooks like "Lonely Planet" and "Frommers" that are country-specific and have reviews of various hotels, hostels, etc. The reviews are written by travellers themselves so the feedback is usually pretty accurate. I've had very positive experiences when I do my research with these resources.
