Do i need a visa if i will be in spain, france and italy for 4 months, not working but volunteering on farms?

i wont be in one counrty for more then 90 days.
and if i go with out one and i need one what will the consequences be?

Once in Europe with the exception of the UK, there are no borders between countries. You could drive from Portugal to Poland without seeing one customs officer. The UK is different. You will be asked for your papers.
I don't know where you are coming from so can't advise on a visa. If you are from the UK you are entitled to be in Europe and no visa is required. You can work there as well.
