Seville vs. Malaga ???

Hi, I'm going to be studying abroad in the Fall semester, and I'm torn between these two cities. I love that Malaga is on the coast because I would the idea of being on the beach, but I have heard that Seville is also amazing, and really lively with lots to do.

Some factors however:
- I really want to become fluent in Spanish
- I want a city with great nightlife
- I would like a city with a lot of stuff to do, some place that doesn't get boring
- Student friendly place would be nice
- Friendly locals are always a plus

Any help (the more detailed the better!) would be amazing!!!

I麓ll leave this for "Sue" to answer later.
M谩laga is a great place but Sevilla is close to one of the finest beaches in Europe between Huelva & the Do帽ana National Park. It's over 30 kilometres in length and golden sand.

sevilla has much more stuff to do and a transit system. you really need a car to get around malaga/fuengirola. lots of nightlife in both places.

Seville is a lovely city very vibrant its where the best marmalade is made they have a lot of orange groves in the fields. i wouldn't bother about the beach there is so much to see, i recommend you see there cathedrals inside when enter is breath taking you will be amazed.they take roman catholic very seriously, you might be lucky seeing a religious ceremony on the road has they shut all the road off and have a Corpus Christi its very spiritual, Malaga is nice too they have nice golf ground near there is La Manga a well know golf course when the celebrities who love golf there, i have actually played in there but i never saw anyone.
