Alot of info there for you!
Good Luck with your paper.

Try looking up Waitomo Cave/Cavern....really interesting. Also Rotorua is interesting area. Don't know anything about South Island.
Good luck

Well I know tourism is our number one income.

This is not the forum to tell you"everything". There isn't the space.
Look up the official NZ tourism site.

Well Auckland gets all the best music acts that come here!

Wellington is probably secondary an Chch 3rd.

Everywhere else practically misses out lol

Also, try a nz travel agents website...and I suggest www.houseoftravel.co.nz., other websites that are suggested above are also good. Tourism is one of the biggest industries in NZ, and it's well worth visiting. Some of the towns which are the largest tourism spots are in the North Island; Rotorua, Waitomo Caves, Taupo and Mt Ruapehu.
In the South Island, Nelson (great for wines), Milford Sounds, Mt Cook, Wanaka, Queenstown and surrounding areas...and the list goes on!
Hope your paper goes well!
