What did you get up to for Waitangi day today...?

... alot of kiwi's get together at the pub here in Cairns, Queensland, run by kiwis.

Did some gardening and went for a bike ride around the water with some friends - my first ride on a bike for 30 years!! - Only fell off twice.
Looks like the absent Kiwis celebrate it more than those who are living here!!

Enjoyed the sun shine and took my puppy to the park to play fetch. Then I worked for an hour and a half and got time and a half! =]

It wasn't really a holiday for me though I'm still on holiday because Uni hasn't started yet.

Slept in to about lunch time, washed my hair, had a nap, went to movies

Stupid. I had to go to school because it is Private. We learnt about Waitangi and then had lunch............... lol
