How many students come to NZ every year to study English?

How many foreign students study English in New Zealand?

If you are asking about English as a second language (ESL) there are courses available.
If you are asking about English as a subject (literature, linguistics, etc.) there are plenty of avenues for study.

I can only answer from my own experience. I am at a NZ University,
and I'd guess that international students make up about half the number of students in my classes.
International students must pass the English requirements to be accepted for study.
There is a wide range of countries represented here, and I have good friends from Germany, India, Taiwan, Canada, China, South Africa, the US, as well as the Kiwi 'natives.'

why don't you choose to go to Australia or Canada?NZ is not a good country to go.They rip off your money.Foreigners are their source of income...what else do they have except sheep and agriculture.
