In search of a solo remote fishing cabin in New Zealand for 1 person?

There seem to be numerous options for solo-remote-cabins in Canada. I'm hoping to find a fly-in remote cabin for Mar or Apr '08 for 2-3 weeks. Interested in "living off the land" & not being in contact with anyone else. I hear New Zealand is beautiful ... and since it's the Southern Hemisphere, I'm hoping to find a weather match during those months. any suggestions?

I suggest you google Real Journeys who used to be Fiordland Travel before they upmarketed their name to the incomprehensible "Real Journeys".
They run a fleet of planes, choppers, boats and coaches into the remotest parts of the country.
They will be able to put you in touch with guides and with the crib owners (In the south of NZ cabins are known as cribs.)
They will be able to get you into and out of the wildest country in the country if you get my drift.

i dont know about NZ but there are plenty in Australia like main arm, some places in tasmania and more remote in NT
