I want to fly from Mexico to Houston, TX with a dog and a cat......?

Will they have to be in quarantine?
Can I fly with two animals? The dog is large and would have to go in cargo...
What is the cost of flying with them?
What paperwork do I need for them?
By the way, I am a US citizen... but the animals were purchased in Mexico. Any other information would be appreciated.

My wife and I have flown on continental with two cats from Merida to Toronto via Houston. Continental was great and Houston is a major hub for them so I'd start with them.

We needed documentation from a vet to say that the cats where healthy and that they were up to date with their shots.
