About mexican money?

in mexico, do banks or any money changer there, still accept and change the old 2000peso bill

No - $orry. It is a collectors item to some, though... It is only worth about 20 american cents... so, hardly worth the bother to go to the bank.

The banks stopped accepting them several years ago.

The only use those are is as play money or to use as wallpaper. I have friends with stacks of them. They have no value.

Sorry. Most of the money is worthless. You will not find any bank that will change those old bills. Consider your $2 lost.

You kept it too long as i did.....I've got some too,but I didn't realized, till I've taken it out from the safe....Luckily,It's only few hundreds.But,It was frustrating though,cause I never knew it can no longer changed.The money changer wouldn't accept it at all now.....subukan mo sa bangko? otherwise,...just keep it for 'memories'.....
