Any one been to mexico veracruz?

i was wondering if any been to veracruz mexico but the ranch, not the city,iam going this week and iam scared i never been out of the usa,,lol,but i dont wont nothing to happen iam taking a but with my man,,i have a passport and every think, so i hope every think is ok.

I am an American livinf in the state of Veracruz, about 1 1/2 hr from the city of Veracruz. it is a beautiful state. Hope you have a great time...sounds like you will be in a rural area.

I'm quite jealous now, Veracruz is my second favorite state in Mexico (at least of the states I've already been to). Best coffee in the world!!!

The jungles probably won't be all that green because this is the dry season, but you will probably have a lot of fun nonetheless. Veracruzean food is really good too, you'll probably like it.

People in those rural parts will be very friendly though you probably won't find a lot of people that can speak any degree of english because it's a rural area. Just don't be a jerk and they will be nice to you. Veracruzeans are pretty famous for being very jolly people with a big sense of humor.

Maybe the only thing you might have to worry about is to avoid getting mosquito bites. This is the dry season so it's unlikely you could get dengue, but bring repellant if you can just in case. Also bring sunblock and hats because those places can be a bit sunny and you wouldn't like to get sunburn.
