Is Rosarito Safe ?

I was wondering if Rosarito is as bad as everyone says it is. Me and some buddies all 18 are going down there for spring break. I heard there is a lot of corrupt cops and a good amount of robberies and violence against tourist's there. Is this true ?

IT IS SAFE, JUST DONT GO OUT ALONE INTO DARK STREETS, NO PLACE IN THE WORLD IS SAFE ANYMORE, I HAD A GREAT TIME, JUST BE NICE AND DONT BE ARROGANT WITH THE PEOPLE, THATS WHY WE GET IN TROUBLE, JUST BE NICE AND DONT GO WILD IN THE DRINKING, THATS WWWERE THE TROUBLE BEGINS, AND DON ACT AS SUPERIOR JUST CCAUSE YOU ARE AMERICAN.

The crime in Rosarito has been completely over reported in the world media. Some of the incidents are months old and the town is being closely secured. The biggest dangers in the near future will be legions of drunk spring breakers. Pay attention to your surroundings, don't drive drunk and leave that ugly american attitude at home.
