Living in the states you hear all the time how for? |
example if we had 10 grand we would be living it up in mexico how much truth is to this ? like how much really is one american dollar to theres? Like can we really stay a night at a good hotel for example 5 dollars drinks all night for 3 I do not know would love to know as much information from anyone that has travel to mexico thank you!!!? No, you can't stay at a "good" hotel for $5US Just like where you are from, hotels are different prices depending on amenities and location. There are places you can stay in Mexico for $5 a night (and less) but they would not be places you would go or even be able to find, especially if you can't speak Spanish. There are some backpacker 'Hostels' who charge 8 to 10 dollars a night for a bed in a dorm room with 10 or 12 beds.Beer is about a dollar a bottle in the less touristed areas of Mexico and a decent but not fancy, four course Mexican meal can run as little as 3 to 5 dollars. Uh, no. If you have $10,000 US you CAN live it up. For a month or two. There are indeed hotels in smaller towns for $5, but not what you are used to. And one Margarita can cost over $3 so no, what you are hearing are stories that are 15 to 20 years old. i live in quin roo and we came with 3000 us and that was 3 months ago.we party every night but we rented an apartment for 350 a month and paid it up a few months now we party like rock stars every day.... Living in the U.S. you will hear many things that are exaggerated or simply not true about Mexico. |
