That they think of Latin America?

That they think of Latin America?

Do you mean "What do they (people) think of Latin America"?

I would say that most people think of Central America, which is obviosly part of Latin America, as a scenic place for tourists. Their opinions would vary from country to country. For example, Costa Rica is perrceived as ideal for tourists and affordable. Nicaragua is regarded in a similar way. Some other countries such as Guatemala and Panama are seen as politically unstable and as places where people are victims of human rights abuse.

Chile is perceived as very scenic but still politically unstable. Paraguay is seen as a land full of thorn forest that will let almost any scoundrel and Nazi war crimal hide out there. Argentina is seen as a playground for the rich and famous with a lot of contrast between the rich minority and the poor majority. Brazil is seen as a good place to visit for its Carnival in Rio de Janeiro and for the beaches. However, it too is viewed as too expensive for the average person to visit. Peru and Bolivia are seen as good destinations for tourists because they have a lot of sites such as Machu Pichu and they are affordable. Columbia, unfortunately is regarded as a place without much law and order, which is how some people regard Argentina.

In general, I think people associate it with a lot of warm people, but at the same time, as a place where human rights abuses, political instability and widespread poverty are major problems.

what r u talking about

I guess you want to say: What do you think about Latin America?

Well, Latin Countries ROCK!!! You can find EVERYTHING on this beautiful land. I live in Costa Rica and I've been in different places of all the American Continent including US, and this place has everything you want or you need. Some disadvantages are disorder and bureaucracy but the rest... Amazing!!!

From Amazonas Forests to Atacama desert.
From White sandy beach with warm sea water in Costa Rica to frozen lake at Titicaca on Peru and Bolivia.
From Buenos Aires city at coast to La Paz, the highest city on the world.
From Dominican reggaeton to Tango
From Sonora desert to Aconcagua Mountain.
From Mexican Tacos to Peruvian Ceviche
From Argentinean pampas to the Andes
From Democratic governments to Fidel Castro
From Arenal Volcano to Popocatepetl
From Antarctic Argentina to the middle of the world, Equator
From the Mayas Calendar to the incredible Macchu Picchu
and from Pascua Island Statues to the mysterious El Dorado

And, comparisons can continue but I'd never end.

Latins have:
3 of the 7 New Wonders of the world
The world's biggest kidney, Amazonas
3 of the most ancient civilizations of the world: Aztecs, Mayans and Incas.
The great Mayans Calendar and the lines of Nazca, etc

Really, Latin America ROCKS!!!

i think that in latin amerca you can find a lot of adventure, you can travel and visit countries like Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, etc.
here you can see new costumes, but there is also problems with the goverments. in latin america you can very good things, but you can also see the "pobreza"
