Im off traveling south america next week, just wondering as regards customs, and prescription medication.? |
At various countries in south america do i need to produce receipts for any prescription drugs i have( ie ) malaria tablets, and general stuff pain killers e.t.c. cause i heard their pretty strict and corrupt, at some checkpoints. I have flown around a lot of countries (colombia, peru, panama, venezuela, costa rica, honduras, dom rep, nicaragua) in south america and no one has ever given medicines a second look. I guess if you are carrying massive amounts with you they might give you a hard time. Probably the places that gave me the most grief was Grand Cayman and Aruba. |
