Do some nicaraguans look asian? Yes, some do. There are so many racial groups in Nicaragua and every other Latin American country. There are the Indigenous people who migrated from the Asian continent thousands-millions of years ago when the American and Asian continents were joined by a bridge made of ice. That is the reason why many indigenous people of the American continent have slanted eyes and many characteristics and physical features of the Asians. In Peru and Brazil which have a large Indigenous population it is very noticeable in many. People of Nicaragua have a lot of racial mixture, over 69% are mixed Indigenous and White, 17% are White, 9% are of Black descent and 5% are pure Indigenous. Apart from that they also have communities of Middle Easterns like Palestinians, Asians, mostly Chinese, some pure Chinese and others that mixed with the blacks in the East coast back in the 1800s, thats why a lot of Nicaraguan creoles also have somewhat slanted eyes and similar features.
