What are the best things to see in south america? |
My friend and me are planning a trip to sth america next year we are two girls who speak no spanish where are the best places to go and do you recomend a tour in certain parts of south america? because it is not safe? In my opinion, Venezuela is the best thing to see in South America. The country is beautiful, diverse and the people are just as great. Danger is everywhere, tension is especially high in the Colombian-Venezuelan border but it is easy to avoid that, just stay away from the border towns/cities. Machu Pechu in Peru, The Madonna in Santiago Chile, The Straghts of Magellan, the "Torres Del Paine" in Patagonia Chile, Buenos Aries, and I have yet to make it to Brazil though very dangerous for Americans I am still dieing to go there and I am going to Costa Rica in a few months. I would not recommend going. I've heard some really bad stories about Americans or for that matter any no locals going to South America. Just be careful with your passport and valuable belongings. They can steal your passport and make you stay and do god knows what and you have no way of getting out of there. I thought that they really didn't care for American's. Oh Brother. Venezuela is not a good place for Americans. Colombia is, if you are careful. Peru, (macchu picchu is wonderful) Chile and the easter Islands, Ecuador and the Galapagos, Igauzu falls in Argentina, Bariloche to ski in July, Uruguay is fairly safe. Just dont dress to the 9s.. dont flash a lot of cash.. dont every take a cab off the street, dont carry a purse if you can help it or if you do, dont put valuables in it. Talk to the locals.. they can tell you where is good and bad. Ive never been to Brazil, but I would certainly go if I had the chance. You would need two or three lifetimes to see the stuff in just one country.. try www.tripadvisor.com might be worth looking at. latin america is safe if youre not stupid. best places ive seen> The best places in any trip are the ones interesting you, if you don't like old stones you can have other things to do. you can be robbed if you are stupid. |
