Area in Lima? |
Any people can help me and tell me if Los Olivos is a good neighbourhood to live in? I am a foreign exchange student and my choices are Los Olivos or San Borja. Stick to San Borja. It is a MUCH better area, with lots of nice places to go, parks, etc. I lived in Lima for 4 years and last I remember, Los Olivos was not very nice and it was far from everything. If you want to see nice places in Lima stick to San Borja, lots of green areas too. San Borja, definitelly. Los Olivos is a bit risky since it is surrounded by slums. |

Find a local host in advance, if you can, and you will have a great time. Get out of the city for at least a couple days. The best of the bes... Iquitos (and not Iqitos) is in the Northeast region in Peru. The Amazon jungle is great over there and there are lots of towns you can visit while in Iquitos. However, to me the best jungle is Manu... You will need the yellow fever vaccine for both countries (jungles) You wont need Malaria or hepatitis. dont worry although I would get the hepatitis vaccines just in case but not especifically for... in 1974-1976 idk but now it is about 1500 dollars (from miami) ..i went there 2 months ago with my family.. it also depends on which airline ur using..some are cheaper than others ... |
