How do Italians feel about the Seige of the Gaza Strip?

What are the polls saying?

Italian peace activists organized a rally at the rafah crossing last wekend,so we may assume activists and the left generally support the Palestinians in their struggle. In the 70's when they had more guts they were not averse to staging periodic boycotts of Zionist product. Today they are less sturdy, more hesitant to arouse the American behemoth.

MMM--- non ho capito?

Actually there are no poll surveys about the question, 'coz Italian media sucks and we are facing the electoral campaign.
As well for historical reasons there is a division between supporters of israel at any cost and sympathizers with the Palestinian cause.
During these years many people (as for the rest in Europe) felt disappointing with the Israeli repression in Cisjordan and the Gaza Strip, but the situation is too complex to be reduced to Good vs Evil i think and so is also for public opinion.

Interesting site re seige.
