Does anyone live in Italy?

I have been accepted to several colleges in the US, such as the University of San Diego, Loyola Marymount, and others, but I am at a loss as to whether I should go to college in the US or in beautiful and gorgeous italy. I speak almost fluent Italian and I applied to the University of Rome, but I just don't know!
Thanks!!

I live in florence!!! I attend universitas studiorum florentia!! rome is a beautiful city... in rome you can visit empire's monuments... it's good experience!!! good luck! ;D

oh gosh. you will be entering into a whole new culture in which you are not a native and will always be seen as a outsider and treated as one even if people are nice to your face. stay clear!

About 60 million.

i used to live in naples italy, its very nice. the school marymount, ive heard of. i say you should go out there, im a military brat (or was) so ive done my traveling all over italy but id go back if i could. rome, venice, trip to germany, you'll get to do things that many people can only think of.

yes, I can see how you might be concerned about if you were to arrive in Rome to find that the entire country is empty with no one living there; no teachers, fellow students, Italian people, farmers, truck drivers. It would be disconcerting, certainly.

rest assured, young lady, that there are plenty of people who live in Italy. They will in a manner of speaking talk perfectly fluent Italian, but you will certainly find other people to talk to and conduct your affairs with. best of luck.

Millions of people! Lol! - As someone fast approaching middle age, who put off travelling to do other things - take my advice and go to Rome - once you're stuck in the earn a living, buy a house, raise a family scenario opportunities like that don't happen any more! Go for it! Live your life as fully as possible!

I believe that she meant to ask if anyone that was on HERE lives in Italy that could give her some advice..not if anyone in the world lives in Italy..I really didn't think that was that hard to understand maybe you people should question your own intelligence..

I live in Italy (Modena to be exact). I like it, but it is different than the States. You might like it, you might not. Why not do an exchange year in Italy to see if you like it? Then if you do, you could extend it to 2 years. Do you plan on working in Italy or the US after you graduate? If you plan on working in the US, go to a college in the US. If you plan on working in Italy, go to a college in Italy.

I am Italian, I live in Milan,,... Rome is very nice city, go there

I live in Italy and I go to "universit脿 Sapienza" of Rome...here there are a lot of italian students because this is ine of bigger university in Italy but also lots of foreing students like you!!!
So don't worry...the problem can be if you want to study some subject like medicine, biology, pshicology ecc because we have an hard selection to enter there!!!
you can see more information in its site: www.uniroma1.it
Come!!!

If you have been accepted to your US universities.. then go there finish up and then come to Italy to get a job or at least find a job related with Italy somehow.. Starting a career in Italy , specially in the university is very tough for Italians.. imagine you being a foreigner with no language...

THINK ABOUT IT!

Life here is not as glamorous as the movies!

I live in Italy; you could be accepted, but it depends on people you'll meet...everywhere it's just the same thing...Italians are good people, in my opinion...

i've lived in italy for over 2 years now... i live in the south in the province of salerno... i love it here, i'm english.
i've been excepted here and my village is very rural, although it helps that my wife is italian.

the fact that you already speak italian is a major plus..
italians are very open warm people and rome is a very cosmopolitan city, it would be an experience of a lifetime and if you don't take it you may regret it later on in life... my opinion is go for it

Oh for goodness sake, go to Italy. Then at least you'll get a proper education.

Nobody cares its your life get on with it

WHAT A DUMB QUESTION. NOBODY LIVES IN ITALY.
THANKS FOR THE 2 POINTS.
