I'm thinking about moving to Aviano Italy...?

i love, love, love sunny days and laying out on the beach or by the pool. Does italy have nice weather? and will it be sunny and warm most of the year?!

Great weather, great history, great beaches, great wine, bad beer. Totally Awesome and you couldn't get a better location to discover Europe from. Venice Airport (VCA) is close so getting around is easy. Do it!!

If you are looking for all that you should consider sigonella instead of aviano... or camp darby! aviano is in the north of italy and you won't have sunny days year round. on he contrary, I think it snows overthere at times. plus, it's far from the beach. at most you can go to garda lake. the south of the country has a nicer weather even if it snows in sicily too at times. sicily is where sigonella is located. camp darby is near pisa where I live and it's on the coast. the weather here is not bad but we have cold as well as hot days. now for example we have about 4 celsius in the morning and it's cold at night too. in summer we may have 30-32 celsius. but the air is very humid in summer. I've never been to aviano but of course the weather is colder there as well as everywhere in the north of italy.

Whatchout .. the American Station Base is really close to there!

Italy has many sunny days during the year.
Anyway Northern Italy is not so warm like the Southern side of the boot (We Italians call Italy "lo stivale" = "the boot").
The warmer time goes from April to October, and June, July and August can be hot. Italy is also quite small, so you can travel a few hours and go to hyke in the mountains or move elsewhere and reach a hot beach.
If you come to Italy you're welcome!

Matteo what's the matter with the American Station Base???

take me with you
