Should I get an english major in Italy or stay in the US?

Well, it depends. Do you plan on then working and living in Italy? If not, I think it's better to get your degree in the country you plan to live in. Do you speak fluent Italian? There are American/English universities in Italy, but what's the point of studying in Italy if you are going to attend an American university the entire time? You could attend an American university in the States. If you want to have an experience abroad, why not try studying in Italy for a year? I did. I was able to take classes in an Italian university for 1 year and the credits I earned were accepted by my university in the States.

P.S. Why study English in a country that isn't an English speaking country? Wouldn't it be better to study Italian or Italian history in Italy??
