Can anyone help??? republic of ireland??? |
Hi everyone, can you tell me how much money you need to earn in the republic of Ireland to live comfortably? We are moving to Castlecoote in Co.Roscommon and my husband will be working in Dublin. It depends on where you work if you have to Commute, as a lot of People do now, sometimes 30 Miles or more. Then you will be using either a Car or Public Transport. If you can get a Job Locally in the Area that you Live in then that is less of an expense. You could get by on say 200鈧?each a week if you had not much expenses but that would be Skinflint Wages, So I would say you would need 400鈧?each a week to cover all Eventualities in order to live Comfortably each Week. If you Buy a House ,the Mortgage can be very Expensive. So try for 400鈧?to 500鈧?Euro a Week in Wages if you can or more if the Job is a very good one. Dublin is a Dear Place for buying and Renting Houses and the cost of living is Higher. It is usually cheaper to live down the Country away from Dublin. So we are talking 鈧?30,000 + a Year Each. As Always you tend to Spend more if you move somewhere until you get to know the layout of the Land, all the Knacky little ways of saving money gradually comes to you after awhile the best shops and Supermarkets, Tesco is usually Cheapest. Good Luck in Ireland Report It Around 鈧?0,000 + to be comfortable 40 K /yr it depends...what part of ireland are u coming to? Dublin is way more expensive than the rest of the country, for rent, transport..everything. Maybe 30k would be good to have there so youre not struggling mmm about 鈧?0,000 for holidays and cars aswell. 鈧?0,000+ 50,000+ to pay for cars /house/food/bills/social life Its easy to work out. Decide your income take off your outgoings. If this is greater then its enough. Anything more is comfortable. Figures like 30,000 are meaningless. 150,ooo,ooo |
