Ireland skill shift...?

I read that Ireland's going from a decrease in low-skill jobs to an increase in knowledge jobs. How does the increasing demand for knowledge workers affect people in respect to where they live, are people moving more and more to the cities? Thanks!

Also, which cities?

There are always low skilled workers needed in this country, like any other, that will never change. However, what your saying applies to certain occasions.ie. I am a skilled worker, but from the countryside in Ireland, and there are not enough,or hardly any , major industries located in the rural areas of Ireland, I had to move to Dublin.
Irelands population is growing though, as a whole, cities and rural , but if you want to know where the best cities, probably for most work are,
1. Dublin- Most work over a broader range of skills, but higher living costs than anywhere else in Ireland
2. Cork- Next biggest city, more opportunities than rural areas.
Next would be Limerick, Waterford, Galway and Kilkenny respectively.

lol. it's does not it's just propaganda put out by the UK government to get more and more illegals into england, n.ireland etc more then 50% of british, irish, and scotlish are leaving the UK because of low pay the house's are to high etc....

Irish people have become obsessed with materialism and wealth. They work around the clock in order to fuel this diabolical "Celtic Tiger". People have become obsessed with property and most are turning into little capitalists.
A harsh recession is what's needed.

I think that people are working more from home.

We've had a ton of folks get started with our internet business from Ireland. So I guess a simple & lucrative opportunity is a popular option for all! Best Wishes :)
