Home care in southern ireland? |
im asking regarding home care in r o i as i work in home care in yorkshire and i am thinking of moving to southern ireland (cork) or near by i was wondering if you have this service in this area or similar to the specific among us......i am asking if any such care is available and if so what are chances of me gaining employment as i have all the relevant qualifications in england thankyou yes if you contact the Health services executive or a local health centre in areas they will be able to help you yes they look for home carers for elderly people and respite care there is alot of call for carers in this country Well first no country exists called 鈥淪outhern Ireland鈥? The country is called just plain old Ireland (you can go ahead & call it the Republic of Ireland either). The south is a geographical area of the country, nothing got to do with the name of a country. Where the confusion probably is arising here is because there is a country called Northern Ireland. yes that would be called being a carer. There are jobs available for that, but i dont know where you would find them...try monster.ie or loadsajobs.ie for a job search.. you could also go through hospitals or nursing homes to find out. Try this website www.hse.ie You are probably looking for the Southern Forum. I have 2 mentally handicapped uncles who receive some in home care and also some respite care along with schooling and day care. Best of luck, thanks for doing what you do. No country called southern Ireland. Contact the health boards re employment. This is often paid for by the state. |
