June or aug for india hoilday?

hi all

thinking of going to india ( delhi and mumbai) for two weeks. I can only get time off in either early June or Aug. Which one is best? I know its either very hot or very wet but if you were going and these were the options what would you do?

June. August is rainy and even though you might like the rains, Mumbai tends to get water clogged with drainage water - not a pretty site. Delhi is okay for both the months. Mumbai gets a lot more rainfall than Delhi, so pack accordingly once you finalise your destination.

i would go in June as in augest it rains alot.. monsoon season.. and its just not nice when it rains heavy, it gets very humid and dirty so going out and about is a no no. june is the time to go.

but the best time if you can is from october to feb as its winter there and its optimum temperature for us brits.

i say june

June last week is better

aug will be fine as it will be warm climate lets come to kerala so many good places, ayurvedic, yoga, and boating all will bring in one place

June or august both are come in monsoon season. Rains start in mumbai by june 6th or other dates as released by the Met dept. Both the month has its own charm. The choice is yours.

It would be rainy season in Mumbai between June & August.
But for occassional rains, Delhi would be alright .
I would advise you to visit Mumbai during early June.
You can cover Delhi also.
Weather may not be too hot in Mumbai but it would be hotter in Delhi during June.

Aug

june will be hot
and augest will be rain
it is better to travel in november as that is the best month for travel as there will not be summer, rain, winter.
the best option if i have to go in this months then i will perfer delhi in june and mumbai in aug as rain start in mumbai in june and delhi will have less rain in june.

definatly June, Augest is a rainny season

Though there will be rain in June as well as August, severity of rain will be much less in August as compared to June. Hence it will be better to visit in August

I live in Mumbai and the best time is Dec, but if you want to travel either in June or Aug the the best option is June the reason being is the rains do not start till the 2nd week of june, so you have some time before it becomes wet and humid. Aug is in the middle of the rainy season and you do not want to be caught in a heavy spell or some kind of city floods.
Have fun

I will suggest you to in June as July and August is not good for Mumbai you can visit Delhi in rainy seson too but don't take a chance in Mumbai.. for more details for your tour you can visit holiday club india.net you will get more information and more deals. Thanks
