What is Germany like?

I am hoping to move there soon. I would be a nanny, so nothing to huge. I will be 18/19 when I go... I am a girl, I am single. What will it be like out there for me?

Hambourg or Munich

well there is a lot of shopping, eating, and night clubs. a little expensive but overall i think you'll like it. from what i could remember, there was a lot of young people swarming around where i lived. i lived there for about 2 1/2 years and had a blast. wish i could go back. good luck and enjoy!

German people are really cool and I lived there when I was 20-21, I was single and I'm a girl, and I always felt secure and all that.

in which area you will move?
Normally G. is open, but conservative (in general). This means that the open US behaviour (like hugging ;)) is not so familiar here.
Mostly the live is planned and you have rules in this country where you wouldn't expect rules (like in driving, parking, tax declaration, payment etc. :)), but if you survive in the US you will also survive here ;).

It is Heaven. A true free constitutional government. People really have freedom. No domestic wire tapping of your phone and e-mails. The Best Democracy the US ever built!!!

OH - side detail - the people are really NICE. I wish I could win the lottery and retire to Germany.
