"Getadelt wird wer schmerzen kennt" means... ??? |
It's german for something. What does it mean? 10 pts to the first person who tells me the right thing. whoever knows pain becomes criticized Chris T is right in his translation, and therefore: Congratulations, he earned ten points! ;)) ROFL, I think the phrase goes " geadelt wird wer Schmerzen kennt"., meaning someone who endured a lot of pain will be knighted (become a knight/royalty). I believe it is a phrase from the bible, meaning that there will be a reward for enduring a lot of pain/hardship. Tantilized is he who knows pain. Is actually the correct traslation of the phrase My feeling tells me it's actually Roman, but as hard as I tried, I could find no quote from literature, so here's just my own humble translation: |
