Are you Indian? By your screen-name, I think so. If so, getting a isa even for your parents can be a tricky thing. As a German with an Indian friend who wanted to visit, I had to write a formal letter of invitation to her, veryfy that I had the means for her to stay with me (in my apartement) or that I could provide her with a hotel room on my cost, that I could come up with all her living expenses for the time set for the visit and so on. Since she is your relative, though, things might be different for you. Go to the local "Ausl盲nderbeh枚rde" in your town and ask. They will definitely help you and tell you what the requirements are.
Hope it works out and you have a good time!

u r a postdoctorste student so, u should contact concern embassy office. i think u will get all the required information.

What citizenship does your mother have? It depends on a country, some countries don't need visas and other do. If it's so then you shoud do as the user above said.
