Jobs security protection germany? |
I LIVE IN GERMANY , A FORMER MARINE, DOES ANYONE KNOW OF A PROTECTION, PSD OR GOOD SECURITY COMPANY IN GERMANY THAT HIRES U.S. The answer from Rick gives very good practical info. BUT, depending on when you were in the Military and which security firm hires you the whole process could be easier. I麓m an American living in Germany, and am searching for a job. I use this site(I麓m trying to find a teaching job) and have some contact with different companies, so I would recommend you try the same. First off, there are lots of Security (Sicherheitdienst) jobs in Germany. But first you'll have to go to school and take a course for security. Every job in Germany requires an 'Ausbildung' which is basically theory and practical training. Best thing to do is get in contact with some different Security firms and see what qualifications you'll need. You'll also need a police report from the local police department where you live, if you've been in Germany less than 10 years, you'll also need a police report from your national police force in your country of origin. The fee for this report is between 10 and 15 Euro - depending where you live. In some cases, you'll have to supply finger prints which might be available from your embassy, if not you'll have to find a private finger print firm and a Notar (Notary) this will cost you about 80 Euro for the finger prints and anywhere from 50 to 150 Euro for the Notar. In my case, I had to get a special security clearance from the Regierungspraesidium for a Z脺P - Zuverl盲ssigkeits眉berpr眉fung, which must be done every two years. I was lucky enough to have lived in Germany for the 10 year requirement and didn't have to go through the finger printing, I did need the police report from the German Police - cost 13 Euro, the Z脺P was paid by my employer as well as the security course (the course cost about 1000 Euro and lasted 12 weeks). @Breezer |
