What type of increase should I ask for going overseas!?

Want to know how much of an increase I need on my salary if I accept to go over to Germany. And what things should I ask when negotiating!?

well first you will need to be paid in euros....take whatever you requested and say you need to be paid in euros due to the cost of living expense....the rate changes by day and is doing alot better against the dollar.....remember to work overseas you can only make up to 80 thousand...after that you will be taxed by uncle sam....and ask to be paid in dollars to your account with the exchange rate in tact......example....if you get paid one thousand ''euros a week'' that would work out to about 1400 dollars a week'' if you dont do this then you will prolly starve while living here......i personally would do what i did....i dont know your job.....but i would say 40 euros and hour and see what the max is they will pay and then negotiate a little higher....( or a few euros higher) just tell them you have to live a little....and go from there....if the give you anything above 20 euros and hour then you will be doing great in germany as far as living... ( thats about 25 dollars an hour--200 dollars a day, and 4000 a month.....tax free....just make sure you are with an american based company paid in dollars.........if you have anymore questions just ask me, i live here and work for an american company .....

better do a good job on asking.THE URAL will
eat your dollars up fast.So don't talk dollars.talk
Urals per month and what the dollar needs to
be to buy them.

Well I would see about seeing how much gas you use a month and then convert that to about $7/gal then I suppose you should get your salary converted to the Euro equivilent (which is currently 1.47 US Dollars to the Euro) but besides those two there isn't too much more to worry about that I can think of.
