I will be there in last week of Feb.
Is teher any special event like she said?

Strolling at Koenigsallee, this is an upscale beautiful shopping street.

Nightlife at the 'Altstadt' where you find a quarter of walkingstreets with a funny mix of restaurants beerpubs and shops, especially the pub named 'Uerige' is very much a genuine german brewhouse with a very special fresh brewed beer.

Trick Question! Trick Question!!.....there are no interesting things in Dusseldorf!!!

The Castles and Beer.

Duesseldorf is my hometown and there are LOTS of very cool things to do here. Lots of culture and lots of fun. Here is a website : http://www.duesseldorf.de/en/index.shtml
It all depends what time of the year you go. If you go this year at the end of january you will see the world famous KARNEVAL. It's awesome. In July you have the KIRMES
You always will have the ALTSTADT for your nightlife.
There are castles, forests, the river RHEIN, lots of outdoor activities, you name it and we have it...

I haven't been there yet, but I've been told it has one of the highest, if not the highest concentration of bars and pubs in Germany. I've heard that from a few people.

Sight Seeing!! there are many old buildings and castels that are fun too see
