What US State is most similar to Germany's climate? |
What US State is most similar to Germany's climate? IT'S LIKE THE NORTHERN U.S. AND SOUTHERN CANADA. Maybe Washington State. It's cold and rainy a lot. I was told Minnesota, that's also why a lot of Germans settled there. It's similar to western Washington in the Seattle area (not the rain forest area). It rains often in Germany, but it is by no means a rain forest. The highs and lows are also similar. In both places temps in summer are around 20 to 30 degrees Celsius. In winter between 0 and 10. Germany is a little colder than Seattle in winter, and gets snow more often. People compare it to the Northeast, but I think it gets much colder there than Germany. To me it is much like the North East of the USA where i am from. Most times when I check the temperature here I also compare it to my second home there and they are very near the same! I am originally from Seattle, now living in Germany and depends on where in Germany you live, i am in the rhien-neckar region and its exactly liek seattle rain, rain, rain rain rain rain but in other areas it has tons of snow but its a fairly mild climate Well, actually the climate in Germany isn`t the same all over the country. Some parts in the southwest have much more sun and generally higher temperature than most of the country. The northern part tends to be colder with slight more rain than the average, while the eastern parts can be quite cold during the winter. |
