I am taking my child to Disneyland in France, any advice?

concerning buying tickets, park to go, place to visit, etc.

When I was planning my trip to Disneyland Paris, this board was very helpful;
http://www.disboards.com/forumdisplay.ph...

You didn't say how old the child is but bring your own stroller, even if he or she doesn't really use one much. There is a lot of walking and you're stuck if your child gets tired. Don't rent theirs'. Horrible mistake I made! They get stolen (you can replace them but you have to walk all the way back...) and they're awkward to use. Bring your own!!!

Some parents of 5 year olds find bringing one is useful and most of the time, it'll hold your gear. You can leave them outside the rides. They're safe but bring a bicycle cord to lock it if it makes you feel better.

Book lunch ahead of time.

Stay as close to the park as possible, preferably in one of their own hotels. Eat dinner in the hotel and go back in the evening after eating. This avoids lines. Take a break in the late afternoon when it's the most crowded.

It's expensive and quite frankly, not my scene but my kids loved it so you know we'll be back!

lots of cash?

Don't. Disney is evil.

Rip-off Disney... just make sure you take PLENTY of money

I wouldnt bother.

it is very cold and wet in february, my boyfriend and i went this time last year so take lots of warm clothes, and money- its expensive over there.
we stayed in the Disney Santa Fe hotel and it was very basic but included everything we needed for our short stay. it was close enough to the park to walk and we did this everyday as the transport buses were packed!
if you have been to any other disney park, it is ALOT smaller!
the train station in Disney goes into the centre of Paris and is easy enough as there is only one train line from there. But keep your eye on your belongings in the centre of Paris, we felt a bit threatened.
Enjoy Yourself!

It's easy - like all attractions it's not cheap to get in or when you are there. You can buy hotdogs from stands - but if you want something a bit more substantial you will have to go to a restuarant. We never went in one (flying 1 day visit) so can't comment on prices.

Other than that it's easy - all the staff have very good english - enjoy!!

Make sure you get the ticket for ALL the parks I think that's there little trick making you spend more where as if you get the one for all it turns out cheaper.

The food places are so expensive! I went to Frankie and Benny's there and over all for two people just the main meal and a drink was like 68 euros!

Annette's is AMAZING make sure you go there! It's like a diner looking place the food is amazing! Big pink car outside it!

Back to the different parks the two best rides Space Mountain and the Rockin Rollarcoaster are in different parks!

Make sure to keep your kid close it is very big and crowded and a great place for a kid to walk off as there's so many attractions!

There's a awsome car show that shows stunts its great! Really interesting to see how they do it on the films!

If your going by Eurostar be warned you will have to get a cab or a coach to Disney it ended up no where near Disney with me!

It's great fun! :)

Hope you have a good time!

I booked a disney hotel and got the tickets included as with breakfast - cheapest hotel 拢92 per night. As for park to go, if you are staying at a disney hotel, go to both parks, but plan for more time in Disneyland rather than disney studios. If you are staying outwith the resort, I wouldn't bother with studios as it is still developing and there isn't much there yet to pay the price. As for Place to visit in the park, it depends on the age of your child.
